Unlike other needling technologies, the medical-grade micro-needles of TWIST® by Dermaroller® are non-traumatic, coneshaped needles that uses ‘active needle retrieval’ technology to strategically displace the skin during the puncture process. This creates a micro-wound that seals within minutes of treatment. These precision manufactured medical grade needles reduce the occurrence of undesirable microneedling side effects such as bruising, swelling and significant downtime. At 150 strokes per second, the TWIST® can safely glide over the skin without scratching or tearing the skin. Poor quality microneedling pens traditionally operate at 100- 120 strokes per second.
